The U.S., which was defeated in the June 25 Korean war, is bringing the constant danger of a war to the Korean nation by ceaselessly staging war exercises against the DPRK, the commentary said, and went on:

The U.S. is seeking the permanent division of the Korean nation while barring the June 15 joint declaration from being implemented.

The death toll caused by GIs crimes in south Korea reaches thousands every year. All this is a tragedy resulting from the U.S. forces' occupation of south Korea.

But the present "regime" of south Korea is seeking to keep power with the backing of the U.S., turning its face away from pain of the national division.

Park Geun Hye's "doctrine of gaining a great opportunity of unification" is the anti-reunification one for confrontation aimed to deny the June 15 joint declaration and kowtow to the U.S.

The best way to achieve the reunification of the Korean peninsula is to have the U.S. forces withdrawn from south Korea, conclude a peace agreement and halt all war exercises against the north.
