Pyongyang, June 21 (KCNA) -- The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism posted on its website articles on June 4 and 8 with the approach of the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle. An article titled "Truth behind outbreak of Korean war" said that the U.S. imperialists occupied south Korea under the mask of "liberator" in September of 1945 and ignited the Korean war with the sinister purpose for putting the whole Korean peninsula under their control. Another article titled "Lesson drawn from Korean war: U.S. strength is not almighty" said that the Korean war marked a historic event in which the myth of the U.S. strength was shattered to smithereens. Referring to the losses suffered by the U.S. in forces and weaponry during the war, the article went on: The U.S. has persistently worked to start a new war against the DPRK for the past several decades, far from drawing a lesson from its defeat in the Korean war. The U.S. is still obsessed with strength-almighty conception. But, the DPRK is quite different from Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya. The DPRK is now demonstrating its might as a powerful nuclear weapons state capable of mercilessly punishing anyone who provokes it wherever he may be on our planet. The U.S. should face up to this stark reality. The U.S. strength is by no means almighty. |
