On display at the venues of the events were photos documenting the exploits President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il performed in the party building. Also displayed there were books and photos introducing the struggle of the army and people of the DPRK to build a thriving nation.

The chairman of the Executive Committee of the Warsaw Regional Committee of the Polish Communist Party said Kim Jong Il developed the WPK into the ever-victorious party, meeting the challenges of all the hostile forces by dint of the single-minded unity of the leader, party and masses. His exploits serve as a good example and precious textbook for the progressive political parties, the chairman added.

The director for Emigration of the Edo State government of Nigeria and other speakers referred to the fact that Kim Jong Il believed in the strength of the popular masses and, relying on it, solved all the problems arising in the revolution and construction and led the DPRK to victory and glory by dint of ideology.

The director of an Indonesian company praised Kim Jong Il as an elder statesman who performed distinguished feats in the party building by leading the WPK for nearly half a century.

Meanwhile, a meeting for introducing the exploits of the peerless great men of Mt. Paektu and the reality of the DPRK prospering under the banner of Songun was held in Brazil on May 22 under the co-sponsorship of the Brazilian Center for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Brazilian People's Organization.
