The Uruguayan paper La Juventud on June 13 carried an article "On the occasion of the 14th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration for Korea's reunification" illustrated with a photo of the Monument to the Three Charters for National Reunification.

L'Avenir, the paper of the DR Congo, on June 16 introduced the validity and vitality of the declaration under the title of "June 15 joint declaration".
