The statement said the past Korean war was, in every respect, a war of aggression ignited by the U.S. imperialists to dominate the whole Korean peninsula and reduce the Korean people to slaves.

The U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet clique can never evade the responsibility for the Korean war well known for its aggressive and brutal nature no matter how much water flows under the bridge, it noted.

It denounced the U.S. for having posed a threat to the Korean nation by ceaselessly staging war drills targeting the DPRK, far from drawing a bitter lesson from its ignominious defeat in the Korean war.

It is a firm will of the service personnel and people of the DPRK and overseas Koreans to show what a real war is like by mobilizing all the military capabilities for self-defence which they have bolstered up for decades under the banner of Songun once the U.S. imperialist aggressors ignite another war of aggression against the DPRK, it said, stressing:
