Anniversary of June 15 North-South Joint Declaration Marked at Korea University

| Pyongyang, June 25 (KCNA) -- There took place an event at Korea University under the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration, according to Choson Sinbo, the organ of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon. A seminar on reunification was held on June 16 under the sponsorship of the group for the study of the issue of national reunification of the university. Present there were students and teachers of the university. Speakers explained the contents of the joint declaration and referred to the significance of its adoption and its validity and vitality. They highly praised Marshal Kim Jong Un for clearly indicating the way of national reunification and wisely leading the work to carry it out. They laid bare the reactionary and crafty nature of the Park Geun Hye group's anti-reunification policy. Other speakers said the Korean students in Japan should deeply understand the importance of reunification and discharge their role in the reunification movement. They called upon all to get united and restore the June 15 era of reunification. A June 15 cultural event on the theme of "Let's picture to ourselves! Reunified country to be brought by us!" was held on June 19. |
