The Indian paper New Delhi Times on June 17 said in an article that the Korean people call the WPK the mother party.

The people's deep trust in the party would be unthinkable without the leadership of Kim Jong Il, the article added.

The Indian paper Krishna Aberta on June 19 said in an article titled "Kim Jong Il, undying party-building feats":

HE Kim Jong Il developed the WPK into a powerful political force leading the revolutionary cause of Songun.

It was thanks to him that the service personnel and people of the DPRK were trained to be those with strong mental power who bring about epoch-making changes and miracles in accomplishing the cause of building a thriving socialist nation.

Feats he performed in the party-building will always shine along with socialist Korea winning victory after victory.

The Indian paper Passion India on June 16 lauded him for developing the WPK into the eternal party of President Kim Il Sung and an invincible party serving the masses and enjoying their absolute support and trust.
