The statement said:

We support the independent and peaceful reunification of Korea and call on peace-loving countries to positively conduct the movement to put an end to the moves of outside forces. The outside forces have gone desperate in their moves to prevent the Koreans in the north, the south and abroad from getting reconciled to achieve reunification in line with the north-south joint declaration published on June 15, 2000.

The policy of good faith pursued by Marshal Kim Jong Un toward the compatriots in the south is arousing worldwide sympathy and being hailed by all peoples aspiring after world peace, unity and a fresh order for progress.

The Korean people have made strenuous efforts to realize the reunification of the country in the idea of By Our Nation Itself.

It is an obligation of all peace-loving people to prevent a thermonuclear war which will bring an untold disaster to humankind.

The U.S. should immediately pull its forces out of south Korea.
