Choe Jong Ryong and Ri Sang Gwan, chairmen of the provincial people's committees, made speeches. Then followed speeches of representatives of workers, agricultural workers, youth and students.

The speakers referred to the fact that during the Fatherland Liberation War the U.S. imperialist brutes mercilessly killed Korean people with the most cruel and brutal methods and reduced peaceful cities, villages, factories, rural villages and fishing villages to ashes.

The unpardonable crimes of the U.S. imperialists are the heinous crimes against humanity which put the atrocities committed by the Hitler fascist clique into the shade, they said, and went on:

The history and reality clearly prove that the U.S. imperialists are the chieftains of aggression and war, root cause of all misfortune and pain of the Korean nation and the sworn enemy.

The speakers called for winning the final victory in the anti-U.S. standoff, achieving the historic cause of national reunification, dynamically pushing forward the building of a thriving socialist nation and thus accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche.
