DPRK Woman Weightlifter Bags Gold Medals in 2014 World Junior Weightlifting Championship

| Pyongyang, June 27 (KCNA) -- DPRK weightlifter Kim Su Jong bagged gold medals in the 2014 World Junior Weightlifting Championships which began in Kazan, Russia on June 21. The championship brought together more than 260 ace men and women weightlifters of 49 countries and regions including the DPRK, Russia, China and Thailand. Kim came first in total points in the women's 75 kg category by snatching 116 kg and lifting 134 kg in jerk. She won two gold medals and one silver medal. Kim Hyo Sim placed second and third in jerk and snatch events in the women's 63 kg category to come second in total points. |
