A ceremony of completion took place on Friday.

Present at the ceremony were officials of the Ministry of Land and Maritime Transport and its affiliated units and employees of the wharf.

Kwak Il Ryong, vice-minister of Land and Maritime Transport, made a speech.

The speaker called for boosting transport through the River Taedong by normalizing dredging, repairing barrages and operating boats.

At the end of the ceremony a newly-built cargo ship left the wharf.
