Al Baath, the organ of the Syria's Baath Arab Socialist Party, on June 19 said in an article titled "Ever-victorious Workers' Party of Korea and leader Kim Jong Il" that the WPK developed into a powerful one steadfastly advancing despite all storms of history.

The article said that the WPK serves as the eternal banner of struggle and victory encouraging not only the Korean people but also the world progressive peoples.

Al Nour, the organ of the Communist Party of Syria (Unity), in an article titled "Developing WPK into an invincible party" on the same day praised Kim Jong Il for strengthening the WPK.

The New Worker, the organ of the New Communist Party of Britain, on June 6 said in an article titled "Comrade Kim Jong Il who developed the Juche idea" that he proclaimed the modeling of the whole society on Kimilsungism as the supreme programme of the WPK and led the party building and activities aimed to implement the Songun revolutionary line to bolster up the defence capability of the country in every way.
