It was none other than the U.S. which divided the Korean peninsula and ignited the Korean war, the commentary said, and went on:

After occupying south Korea, the U.S. installed a "separate government" and suppressed the patriotic, progressive and democratic forces. It prodded traitor Syngman Rhee into unleashing the war in order to hold supremacy in Northeast Asia as part of its scenario for world domination.

More than 60 years have passed since then but the U.S. has forced colonial slavery upon south Korean people.

The commentary called upon all the patriotic fellow countrymen at home and abroad to pool their efforts under the banner of By Our Nation Itself and turn out as one in the struggle to achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country.
