The participants solemnly played immortal revolutionary hymns "Song of General Kim Il Sung" and "Song of General Kim Jong Il" and "March for Songun Victory", looking up to the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill at its foot.

They started the joint street march to Kim Il Sung Square.

Flying the flags of the DPRK and the supreme commander, the Military Band of the KPA and the Female Brass Band of the Korean People's Internal Security Forces marched, dynamically playing songs "Long Live Generalissimo Kim Il Sung", "We Will Defend General Kim Jong Un at the Cost of Our Lives", etc.

Flying the national flag of Russia, the members of the central military orchestra of the Ministry of Defense of Russia marched in sky-high spirit, playing songs "Song of Soviet Army", "Katyusha", etc.

People from all walks of life in the capital city warmly waved to the marchers.

The marchers' ranks entered Kim Il Sung Square amid high enthusiasm.

KPA Colonel General O Kum Chol, Mun Chol, vice-chairman of the Pyongyang City People's Committee, officers of the KPA, working people and youth and students in the city greeted them.

Present there were Alexandr Timonin, Russian ambassador to the DPRK, and his embassy officials and members of the military attache corps here.

There took place a military music ceremony on the square.

The army artistes of the two countries presented diverse formations, playing military music.

They played the national anthems of the DPRK and Russia and "Ode to Motherland", "'Ulan' March", etc.
