The statement said that U.S. forces present in south Korea under the helmet of "UN Forces" for more than six decades since the ceasefire are still going reckless in the moves to unleash a new war against the DPRK. It went on:

The situation on the Korean peninsula is so tense that a new war may break out any moment due to the U.S. violating the Armistice Agreement.

To replace the DPRK-U.S. AA by a peace agreement is an urgent demand of the present situation.

Only this will ensure a lasting peace and stability on the Korean peninsula.

The DPRK has consistently raised the just demand on signing a peace agreement.

We fully support this.

The U.S. should immediately withdraw its forces of aggression and nukes from south Korea, replace the AA by a peace agreement and refrain from blocking the peaceful reunification of Korea.
