Displayed at the venues of the events were photos dealing with his sacred revolutionary life and immortal feats.

Also on display were photos showing the army and people of the DPRK building a thriving nation.

Films shown included Korean film "Fireworks of a Thriving Nation".

Vasile Orleanu, chairman of the Supreme Council of the Socialist Party of Romania, said in his speech:

The President was born into a patriotic and revolutionary family and embarked upon the road of struggle for national liberation in his teens, shouldering upon himself the destiny of the country and the nation. He devoted his all to the reunification of the country and its people's happiness even during the last period of his life.

The undying feats he performed for the Korean revolution and the cause of global independence will always be kept in the hearts of the Korean people and progressive mankind.

The director of the Art and Cultural Council of the Ministry of Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria said that the President built the genuine people's country and the socialist system centred on the popular masses with his unique idea of state-building and veteran and seasoned leadership, adding his feats will shine long.
