The organization accused the Puchon Branch of the Inchon District Court of making a decision to cancel the registration of Jaju Minbo.

This decision was a unilateral one made by the authorities without informing the representative of Jaju Minbo of the trial program, it held, adding:

It has conducted its activities to put an end to the national split by implementing the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration, the landmarks for national reunification, despite all sorts of suppression

The court ruling was no more than a crackdown upon the reunification movement and a reckless action of passing death sentence on the freedom of expression and press, the rights of the people.

The organization declared it would join all aspiring after democracy to carry on the strong actions to defend the progressive media.
