Displayed at the venues of the events were photos documenting the feats of Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

Also on display were works of Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un and books introducing the true picture of Songun Korea.

Atanas Ivanov, honorary chairman of the Bulgarian Communists Union, said:

Kim Il Sung was the great statesman in the 20th century who made undying contributions to the sacred cause for the freedom and independence of Korea, the people's happiness and global independence.

He devoted himself to providing the people with a bountiful life, always finding himself among them, and made great contributions to the cause of national reunification and the cause of global independence till the last moments of his life.

Therefore, he is always alive in the hearts of the Korean people and progressive humankind.

Martin Lotscher, chairman of the Switzerland-Korea Committee, praised Kim Il Sung as the great father of the Korean nation and the eternal lodestar of Korea's reunification who worked heart and soul for Korea's reunification till the last moments of his life.

Christer Lundgren, chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association, noted though Kim Il Sung passed away, his desire, political line and leadership art are being steadfastly carried forward by Kim Jong Un.

Messages to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the meetings in Switzerland and Sweden.
