Present there were Choe Un Bok, chairwoman of the General Association of Koreans in China, other Koreans in China, the consul general and staff members of the DPRK consulate general in Shenyang, families of Koreans related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle in China and members of DPRK branches working in the three provinces in the northeastern area of China.

Also among the participants were the deputy department head of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Jilin Provincial People's Government, the director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Jilin City People's Government, officials of the Jilin City Security Department, principal of Yuwen Middle School and other Chinese.

The participants laid floral baskets and bouquets before the statue of the President and paid tribute.
