The event was held on the subjects of "The Great Generalissimo Kim Il Sung is eternal sun of mankind revered by all peoples", "The Great Generalissimo Kim Il Sung is peerless brilliant commander who started our revolution with arms and led it to victory", "The Great Generalissimo Kim Il Sung is peerless great man who created new history of single-minded unity with noble comradeship and obligation", and "The Great Generalissimo Kim Il Sung is great sage of revolution who devoted himself to the country and people going through all sorts of hardships".

The floor was taken by Army General Ri Yong Gil, chief of the KPA General Staff, KPA General Hyon Yong Chol, minister of the People's Armed Forces, KPA Colonel General Kang Phyo Yong, vice-minister of the People's Armed Forces, and KPA Lieutenant General Ryom Chol Song.

The speakers said:

The greatest of the feats performed by the President is that he fathered the immortal Juche idea to indicate a genuine path for the oppressed Korean people and progressives to carve out their destinies.

The President strengthened the KPA into the army of the party and the leader throughout his life and devoted himself to the development of the army into an invincible revolutionary army strong enough to defeat any formidable enemy at a single stroke.

He formed the integral whole of all the service personnel and people who share the same intention and feelings with his warm comradely love.

He set forth the guidelines of revolution and steadfastly adhered to them in the practical struggle to overcome the severe trials and ordeals.

The speakers called for strengthening the KPA into the army of the leader and the party true to the leadership of Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un.

Present at the pubic presentation were officials of the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces and KPA generals, officers and men.
