Foreign Guests, Overseas Koreans Visit Kumsusan Palace of Sun

Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- Foreign guests and overseas compatriots visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun Tuesday, the 20th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung to pay homage to the President and leader Kim Jong Il. They included diplomatic envoys, representatives of international bodies and military attaches of foreign embassies here, families of overseas Koreans related to the revolutionary activities of the President, a delegation of Koreans in Japan and a delegation of the General Association of Koreans in China. They paid high tribute to the statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. At the halls where Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il lie in state, they made bows to them. They went round the halls where orders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il received are on display and the halls which house cars, an electric car, a boat and train coaches used by them during their field guidance and foreign tours till the last moments of their lives. The visitors made entries in the visitor's book. On the same day, the chief and staff members of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun and paid homage to Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. |
