The magazine conveys news that supreme leader Kim Jong Un attended a national meeting held to mark the 50th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

Seen in the magazine is the news that Kim Jong Un inspected KPA Naval Unit 167 honored with the title of O Jung Hup-led 7th Regiment.

Given in the magazine is a message of greeting he sent to the president of the Russian Federation on the occasion of its national day.

It dedicates an article titled "Kim Jong Il and immortal exploits performed by him in the party building" to the 50th anniversary of his start of work at the C.C., the WPK, which praised Kim Jong Il for developing the WPK into an invincible party which firmly established the monolithic leadership system.

On the occasion of the 14th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration the magazine carries articles titled "The June 15 North-South Joint Declaration serves as a permanent banner for the movement for national reunification" and "June 15 era reflects the wishes of the whole Korean nation." They recalled that the fundamental changes occurred in the inter-Korean relations in the wake of the historic north-south summit, the first of its kind in the history of division, and the June 15 era.

It carries an article titled "Korean war, data speaks" as regards the outbreak of the June 25 Korean war.

It introduces the international news including a report about the 6th meeting of the inter-governmental committee for cooperation in trade, economy, science and technology between the DPRK and the Russian Federation held in Vladivostok, Russia.
