Exhibited at the greenhouse were more than 100 potted Kimilsungias in full bloom.

Present at the ceremony were personages of the Pioneer Party of Indonesia, a flower garden council in Jakarta, a university of Indonesia, the Council for Jakarta Orchid Park of Indonesia and the Indonesia-Korea Association for Friendship and Cultural Exchange and masses.

Before the visit, the participants were briefed on the exploits of Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un and how Kimilsungia came into being and several personages made speeches.

The general secretary of the National Guidance Council of the Pioneer Party of Indonesia said:

There are many great persons in the world but I have not seen flowers named after the great persons.

The undying feats performed by the President in accomplishing the human cause of independence will be everlasting along with Kimilsungia, the flower of the sun.

Kimilsungia is the flower symbolic of the friendly relations between Indonesia and the DPRK.

I hope that the friendly relations between the two countries would grow stronger.
