The Lao paper Congtap Pasason Lao on July 3 carried a special article titled "Prominent leader in 20th century" with the portrait of the smiling President.

The paper said it is twenty years since he passed away but he is always alive in the hearts of all people as the prominent leader representing the 20th century.

The Thai paper Xing San Daily on July 3 devoted one whole page to a special article titled "Eternal sun of Juche" with the portrait of the smiling President.

It said that the world people praise the President as the eternal sun of Juche.

The Myanmar paper The New Age on June 28 carried an article titled "Father of people" under the headline "Highest tribute to HE President Kim Il Sung, the great leader of the Korean people, on July 8, 2014, the 20th anniversary of his demise" together with the portrait of the smiling President.

The Bangladeshi paper Bangla Times on July 1 carried articles on his exploits.
