For the north and the south to get reconciled and united for national reunification, not to antagonize and confront with each other, is the only way out for the Korean nation. whiling away time, being obsessed with narrow-minded interests of individual group and deep-rooted mistrust in fellow countrymen, while turning one's face away from the disgrace and misfortune the nation is suffering, means mocking at the desire of the nation for reunification and perpetrating the crimes to be cursed by the rising generations.

The north and the south should hew out the destiny and future of the fellow countrymen in a responsible manner by shouldering upon themselves the dignity and honor of the nation. Rise and fall of the country and life and death of the nation fully rest with the authorities of the north and the south. The north and the south should make a big stride forward a new future with the will to break with the inglorious past.

The south Korean authorities should remove prejudice and unnecessary doubt and positively respond to the special proposal and the statement of the DPRK government reflecting its sincerity. They should neither see fellow countrymen in the north through sun glasses given by foreign forces nor approach the inter-Korean relations with the thought of flunkeyism and submission.
