The chairman of the Peruvian Committee for Remembering Generalissimo Kim Il Sung lauded him as the eternal leader of the Korean people and progressive humankind who founded the original Juche idea and the Songun idea and successfully applied them to the revolutionary practices.

The President was the great teacher, great man and very open-minded and kind man to whom the world looks up, he said, adding the President by no means passed away.

The international secretary of the Communist Party of Peru (Red Motherland) said:

The President liberated Korea by waging the 15 year-long anti-Japanese armed struggle, founded the DPRK and repelled the U.S. imperialists' invasion and defended the country's sovereignty and dignity.

He overcame the limitation of the preceding theory of the working class and built Korean-style socialism with his independent and unique idea and politics.

Leader Kim Jong Il developed and enriched the Juche idea and the Songun idea and wisely led the Korean people in the drive for building socialism and reunifying the country and in the anti-imperialist, anti-U.S. struggle.

The general secretary of the Revolutionary Socialist Party of Peru, the president of the General Kim Jong Il Peruvian Amicable Institute and other figures praised the President as the invincible and iron-willed commander who defeated the U.S. and Japanese imperialists and the father of all people who devoted his all to the country and the people's happiness and global independence.
