Exploits of Kim Il Sung Praised by Foreign Figures

Pyongyang, July 12 (KCNA) -- Events took place in foreign countries from July 1 to 5 on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung. They included seminars, remembrance meetings, lectures and round-table talks in Romania, Poland, Germany, Zimbabwe, Angola and Ethiopia. The chairman of the Supreme Council of the Socialist Party of Romania said that the President embarked upon the road of revolution in his teens, founded the Juche idea, liberated the country and led the Korean people in their struggle for building socialism and accomplishing the cause of global independence against the imperialist allied forces. He stressed that the immortal exploits performed by the President on behalf of the Korean revolution and world revolution would be kept forever in the hearts of not only the Korean people but the Romanian people. The chief of the Poland Branch of the Korean Friendship Association praised the President as the resolute fighter for independence against imperialism and outstanding statesman who embarked on the road of revolution in his early years and devoted his all to realizing the popular masses' cause of independence, holding high the banner of Juche. The chairman of the Anti-Imperialist Forum of Germany said that the President creditably maintained the Juche-oriented stand in all fields including politics, economy and military affairs while placing the sovereignty of the country and nation before anything else. The principal of Kuwazana Primary School No. 2 of Zimbabwe said that the President was not only the leader of a country but also the benevolent father of the people, adding: He placed the people's interests before anything else in working out all policies and provided field guidance for the people till the last moments of his life. A message to supreme leader Kim Jong Un was adopted at the event held in Germany. |
