Alejandro Cao de Benos, chairman of the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain, said this in a statement on July 4.

The President liberated Korea and firmly defended the DPRK from all sorts of moves of the imperialists to invade and destroy it and turned it into the socialist power of Juche.

He rendered material and moral assistance to the leaders and people of various countries desirous of independence whenever they underwent difficulties.

Though he passed away, he is remembered by progressive humankind.
