The carrier is to take part in the naval maneuver and carrier escort operation, plane intercepting drill, etc. in coordinated operation with the south Korean naval force in the West and South seas of Korea from July 16 to 21.

It is also said that search and rescue drills will be staged in the waters south of Jeju Island on July 21 and 22 with an aim at sea-blockade against the DPRK with the south Korean and Japanese naval forces involved.

This shows that the U.S. imperialists are evermore escalating the provocative moves to ignite a nuclear war on the Korean peninsula at any cost while blocking the trend for mending the inter-Korean relations.
