There is no reason for the north and the south to escalate military confrontation.

Those who are concerned about the destiny of the nation can never turn their faces away from the just proposal of the DPRK.

The hostile military relations between the north and the south are wholly attributable to the foreign forces' interference and plot, not to the contradiction within the nation.

The U.S. is persistently instigating the south Korean authorities to escalate military confrontation with the fellow countrymen to realize its aggressive strategy for domination over the DPRK and is laying an obstacle in the way for improving the north-south relations with its deliberate moves to escalate tensions.

The large-scale war exercises against the north staged in south Korea during the past several decades are the products of the criminal scenario of the U.S. to militarily stifle the DPRK by instigating the south Korean authorities and dominate the whole of Korea.

The south Korean authorities should not make a foolish act of hurting the destiny of the nation, being played into the hands of foreign forces. They should make a policy decision of ending the north-targeted joint military exercises with the U.S. and terminating the hostile military relations between the north and the south.

They should take a sincere approach toward the proposal of the DPRK representing its patriotic stand and peace-loving will and make a responsible act in conformity with the requirements of the times and nation.
