The investigation headquarters of the Ministry of Defense booked former commanding officers of the cyber command for their illegal interference in the "presidential election", the commentary said.

The investigation should not be confined to this, it held, adding:

Kim Kwan Jin, former minister of Defense, was above the cyber commander in those days.

Whether Kim was involved in the election or not should be thoroughly probed, the commentary urged, demanding an investigation into how closely the cyber command and the Intelligence Service were linked with each other in the operation to interfere in the election.
