The statement said:

We, friends of the DPRK, sincerely revere the President.

The President founded the immortal Juche idea, great torch of human emancipation, and successfully applied it to the revolution and construction.

He led the two arduous revolutionary wars to victory and built the socialist system centered on the popular masses on the land of Korea.

He regarded it as his motto to believe in the people as in Heaven and made sure that all policies and lines served the people.

He abolished the tax system in the DPRK and enforced the socialist policies including the system of the free education and free medical treatment. These are miracles in modern history.

The President always gave field guidance and found himself among the people and led the same ordinary life as them.

He encouraged the struggle for cause of global independence against the U.S.-led imperialists and thus made great contributions to peace in Asia and the rest of the world.

He set forth the three principles of national reunification which are the most fair and just and devoted his tireless efforts to Korea's reunification till the last moments of his life.

He will always be alive in the hearts of the world people.
