Russian Papers Praise Kim Il Sung

Pyongyang, July 13 (KCNA) -- Russian newspapers carried special write-ups illustrated with the portrait of smiling President Kim Il Sung and photos documenting his exploits on June 28 and July 2 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his demise. The newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda in an article "July 8 Remembering Comrade Kim Il Sung" said: Comrade Kim Il Sung embarked upon the road of the revolution in his teens and created the Juche idea, Songun idea to indicate the roads for not only the Korean people but also mankind. Kim Il Sung led the hard-fought anti-Japanese armed struggle to bring the liberation of Korea, built the people's country and defeated for first time in history the U.S. imperialists who boasted of being the "strongest" in the world and firmly defended sovereignty and independence of the country. Kim Il Sung fully supported the struggle for national liberation and construction of new society of the peoples of different countries. The paper Pri Amurskiye Wedomostsi in an article "Kim Il Sung, benevolent image" said: The sunny smile of President Kim Il Sung reflects the noble humanity and warm tenderness. The President always treated people kindly and took warm care of them with paternal love with a broad smile on his face. This was peculiar to the President as a great man. The benevolent image of the President will be kept in the hearts of all people for all ages. The newspaper Zavtra in an article "Eternal leader of the Korean people" praised the noble revolutionary career of the peerless great man who performed immortal exploits for the era and history through outstanding ideological and theoretical activities and noble revolutionary practices. |
