Present there were figures of the Russian Blagobeshensk Association for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, Blagobeshensk State University of Education, Bulgarian Communists Union, Bulgaria－Korea Friendship Association, Kim Il Sung Library in Sofia, Bulgaria, Hungarian Workers' Party and the Slovenia-Korea Friendship Association and masses.

A. I. Donchenko, chairman of the Russian Blagobeshensk Association for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, said:

President Kim Il Sung is always alive in the hearts of not only the Korean people but humankind as the outstanding leader representing the 20th century.

He was the great master of idea and theory who ushered in the era of independence and guaranteed the victorious advance of the cause of independence by founding the Juche idea and the Songun idea.

He led the cause of global independence against imperialism to victory, holding aloft the banner of Juche all his life.

Maria Angelova, acting head of Kim Il Sung Library in Sofia, said that the President is being deeply revered not only by the Korean people but by the world progressive people as the political elder of the 20th century who made undying contributions to the cause of independence against imperialism and the global cause of socialism.

Gyula Thurmer, chairman of the Hungarian Workers' Party who doubles as chairman of the Hungarian Committee for Remembering President Kim Il Sung, and other speakers said that the President would live forever in the hearts of the world people for his noble exploits performed in the struggle for accomplishing the human cause of independence.
