The Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea said this in a joint statement on July 3.

The exploits performed by the President in the whole period of his revolutionary life were unprecedented in human history.

He was the greatest-ever commander who founded the immortal Juche idea and the Songun idea and defeated the U.S. and Japanese imperialists in one generation.

He organized the anti-Japanese armed struggle, putting an end to the Japanese imperialists' colonial rule over Korea and liberating it.

He founded the DPRK, the first independent and sovereign state in liberated Korea, and led the great Fatherland Liberation War to victory, bringing about the beginning of decline for the U.S. imperialists, the first of its kind in history.

A land of bliss for the people was built in socialist Korea thanks to his wise leadership for decades in the post-war period.

He worked heart and soul for national reunification till the last moments of his life and provided a great programme for national reunification.

He dedicated himself to the people's happiness all his life.

He was a tender-hearted father of the people as he regarded believing in people as in Heaven as his motto.
