The head of a department of the Political Faculty of the University of Damascus of Syria said that the President was the father of socialist Korea who liberated the country usurped by the Japanese imperialists and founded the DPRK, the genuine country of the people, and the exploits performed by him for the cause of global independence would be everlasting.

The chairman of the Ugandan National Executive Committee of the Pan-African Movement noted:

The President was the great master of ideology and leadership who made sure that the Korean people could defend their own ideology and social system despite all challenges and pressures by the imperialists.

The Juche idea founded by him serves as the precious textbook helping the African countries stand against the imperialists' neo-colonial policy and make social progress.
