The statement that was released in the wake of the crucial proposal made by the National Defence Commission of the DPRK is indicative of the steadfast peace-loving stand of the DPRK.

The Party for the Socialist Choice of Romania fully supports the principled stand of the DPRK to reject interference of foreign forces and reunify the country by the Korean nation itself the way agreed upon between the north and the south.

The situation is so dangerous on the Korean peninsula and in its vicinity that a war may break out any moment as a huge U.S. nuclear war hardware is amassed there.

The south Korean authorities are staging large-scale war drills without letup in collusion with the U.S.

They should positively respond to the patriotic call of the DPRK, bearing in mind that confrontation with the fellow countrymen would only bring destruction.
