Paying highest tribute to Kim Il Sung, the statement said:

We look back with deep reverence on the undying exploits the President performed by liberating the country, beating back the invasion by the U.S. imperialists, building powerful socialism and devoting himself to the prosperity of the country and its people's happiness and the sacred cause of global peace and stability.

Under the wise guidance of the President and HE Kim Jong Il the DPRK turned into an invincible power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence which achieved the single-minded unity of the leader, party and masses.

Their noble cause is being successfully carried forward by HE Kim Jong Un, the supreme leader of the party and state of the DPRK.

Under his leadership the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people have made eye-opening achievements in building an economic power and improving the people's living standard while firmly defending socialism from the hostile forces' vicious moves to stifle the DPRK.

We are convinced that the idea and cause of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il will be successfully accomplished under the guidance of Kim Jong Un. We extend once again support and solidarity to the Korean people in their just cause.
