On display in the exhibition hall were photos documenting the noble revolutionary careers and immortal exploits of Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and revolutionary activities of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Works of the peerless great men of Mt. Paektu, books and photos introducing Songun Korea and handicrafts associated with the creative talents of the Korean people were also on show.

Participants in the opening ceremony laid a floral basket and bouquets before the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il before paying tribute to them.

Speakers said they recollected with deep emotion the whole life of Kim Il Sung, a prominent great man recognized by the world, through the exhibition on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of his demise. The exhibition which opened in the significant place associated with revolutionary activities of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il will offer an important occasion in boosting the friendly ties between the two countries, they added.

The Korean people are enjoying a happy life in society where the free medical care and education systems are in force, they said, vowing to conduct more brisk cultural exchange between the peoples of the two countries.
