The statement said:

The DPRK's positive efforts and sincere measures for mending the north-south ties are being absolutely supported and welcomed by all Koreans and world peace-loving people.

It is against this backdrop that the U.S. is staging the joint military exercises again with the south Korean puppet forces with the involvement of the flotilla of the nuclear carrier and the group of Aegis destroyers.

Their reckless military acts are the mockery of the sincere efforts made by the army and people of the DPRK to dispel the tensions and create the peaceful climate on the Korean peninsula and an open challenge to all Koreans and world peace-loving people aspiring after peace on the peninsula.

The south Korean authorities should positively respond to the just proposals of the DPRK and opt for the national reconciliation and cooperation, though belatedly.

The General Association of Koreans in China will fight it out against the U.S. imperialists and other hostile forces disturbing peace on the Korean peninsula together with all Koreans and world peace-loving people.
