The Uruguayan paper La Juventud on June 25 carried an article titled "History of President Kim Il Sung's revolutionary activities for victory in Fatherland Liberation War" illustrated with his photo.

The paper cited facts that the President aroused all the service personnel and people to the sacred war for defending the country, set forth correct strategies and tactics in every period and at every stage of the war and thus dealt merciless deadly blows at the U.S. imperialists.

The Russian paper Pravda Primoriya on July 15 carried an article titled "U.S., not forget the lesson taught by its defeat in Korean war", which said:

The U.S. imperialists were the aggressors who ignited a war against the DPRK in June, 1950 and inflicted untold disasters and misfortune upon the Korean nation.

The crimes committed by them during the war can never be pardoned.

Under the wise leadership of Kim Il Sung the Korean people defeated the U.S. imperialists and their allied forces and achieved a great victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

The U.S. imperialists are still pursuing a hostile policy toward the DPRK, far from drawing a lesson from its defeat in the war.

On July 10 the Guinean Domestic, International and seven National Languages Broadcasting Services stressed that July 27 of the DPRK would go down in history along with its steady victories in the showdown with the U.S.
