Koreans in U.S. Demand S. Korean Authorities Institute Special Law on Ferry Sewol Disaster

| Pyongyang, July 23 (KCNA) -- Koreans in the U.S. held rallies outside the consulate general of south Korea in Los Angeles on July 19 and 20 in demand of the institution of a special law on the ferry Sewol disaster, according to Minjok Thongsin, the internet newspaper of Koreans in the U.S. At the rallies speakers underscored the need to institute a special law as wanted by the bereaved families of victims of the disaster and thoroughly probe the truth behind the accident and clear all suspicions. They expressed the will to launch actions of various forms including signature campaign. |
