Sh. Shabdolov, chairman of the Communist Party of Tajikistan, said this in a statement on July 18 on the occasion of the June 25-July 27 month of the anti-U.S. joint struggle.

Thanks to the outstanding strategies and tactics and leadership of the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung, the army and people of the DPRK inflicted heavy political, military and moral setbacks on the U.S. for the first time in history, he said, and went on:

Although 60 years have passed since the end of the Korean war, the U.S. is still resorting to military provocations against the DPRK.

Ceaseless nuclear war drills against the DPRK on the Korean peninsula and in the waters off it clearly prove that the U.S. and the south Korean authorities are to blame for the escalated tension in the peninsula.

The service personnel and people of the DPRK are shattering all the U.S. moves for aggression and creditably defending their socialist homeland under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.
