During the war, Kim Il Sung set forth the unique military ideas and theories through his many reports, speeches, talks and orders such as "Let Us Wipe Out the Invaders by a Decisive Counter-Offensive", "Go All Out for Victory in the War", "Let Us Defend Every Inch of Our Motherland at the Cost of Our Blood" and "Concluding Speech Delivered at the Third Plenary Meeting of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea".

They included the idea of turning the Fatherland Liberation War into an all-people war and definitely maintaining the Korean People's Army's polit-ideological and strategic-tactical superiority and the idea of meeting the demand for war supplies by one's own efforts.

His extraordinary military idea and stratagem made the army and people of the DPRK turn out in the battles to defeat the enemy forces superior in numerical and technical aspects with their unique war tactics.
