Austrian Organization Blasts U.S.-S. Korea Joint Naval Drills

Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity Committee of Unionists for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea in Austria on July 18 issued a statement condemning the U.S.-south Korea joint naval drills.

The statement strongly demanded the U.S. and the south Korean authorities stop the drills against the DPRK.

It said:

Huge armed forces of the U.S. and south Korea involved in these war maneuvers pose a serious threat to the peace and security of the region.

We urge the south Korean authorities to halt the military provocations against the fellow countrymen and come out to the negotiating table with the DPRK.

We denounce the anachronistic reckless acts of the U.S. and the south Korean authorities.
