U.S. Should Not Forget Disgraceful Defeat in War: Rodong Sinmun

Pyongyang, July 26 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Saturday in an article warns that the U.S. should not forget the history of its ignominious defeat in the Korean war. The article goes on: The U.S. is staging a foolish burlesque in a bid to paint the defeat it sustained in the war as "victory". The Korean war is often called a "forgotten war" in the U.S. This is the last resort for the warmongers who think it is better for them to forget the shameful and nightmare-like war. This shows that the U.S. seeks to retrieve its ignominious defeat and attain its ambition for aggression at any cost, far from drawing a lesson from its bitter defeat in the Korean war. The U.S. should bear in mind the lamentable confessions by generals of the U.S. imperialist forces that the U.S. fought a wrong war with a wrong rival in the wrong place and at a wrong time. If the U.S. ignites a war of aggression on this land again, it will not just end with cries of distress by the murderous generals. All wars ignited by the U.S. imperialists were fought in lands far away from its mainland. Therefore, not a single bomb was dropped on the U.S. land. The same was the case with the Korean war. Korea turned into the sea of flames and ashes owing to the U.S. imperialists, but neither single bomb nor shell were dropped on the land of the U.S. The U.S. should know that the situation today is different from what it was. If the U.S. dare ignites the second Korean war, the DPRK will strike every place where the aggressors can set their foot on and blow up the strongholds for aggression. |
