Vasile Orleanu, chairman of the Supreme Council of the Socialist Party of Romania, said this in a statement on July 22 supporting the statement of the DPRK Foreign Ministry and the statement of a spokesman for the Policy Department of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK.

He went on:

The DPRK Foreign Ministry released the statement on July 19 as regards the fact that the UN Security Council termed the DPRK's regular short-range missile launching for self-defence a "violation of its resolutions."

The UNSC overlooked the U.S. madcap war maneuvers for aggression and nuclear threat and took issue with the DPRK over its inevitable option to cope with them, an absolutely intolerable act.

As long as the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces persist in their joint military exercises for aggression, the DPRK's counter-action will be put on an annual and regular basis.

A spokesman for the Policy Department of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK in a statement warned that the more desperately the U.S. and the south Korean authorities resort to gangster-like hostile acts, the more deadly retaliatory actions of Korean style they will face. This will be like a bolt from the blue.

We call once again upon the UNSC to settle all the issues on the principle of objectivity and impartiality, positively supporting the said statements of the DPRK Foreign Ministry and the spokesman for the Policy Department of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK.
