Pyongyang, July 28 (KCNA) -- The DPRK is sure to win a final victory as there are the solid foundation for building a thriving nation laid by President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, the single-minded unity of its service personnel and people who are united close around Marshal Kim Jong Un and the history and tradition of the great victory in the Fatherland Liberation War, says Rodong Sinmun Monday in an article. The high dignity and prestige of Kim Il Sung's and Kim Jong Il's Korea, the independent life of the Korean people and the strong vitality with which they are making a dynamic general advance for the final victory are directly linked with July 27, the day of the war victory, the article notes, and goes on: The Fatherland Liberation War fought in the 1950s was a do-or-die war unprecedented in its ferocity. The military idea, strategies and tactics of the President characterized by their originality, scientific accuracy, superb stratagem and offensive spirit were a decisive factor which enabled Korean people to turn the tide of the war in their favor, always seize the initiative and win only victories. The Korean peninsula has turned into a region where the danger of a thermonuclear war has become a fait accompli as political and military confrontation has extremely escalated there. But the target of our struggle remains unchanged. Under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un, a peerless illustrious commander, the military muscle of the DPRK has been bolstered up a hundredfold and it has provided a sure guarantee for safeguarding peace and security in not only the peninsula but other parts of Northeast Asia and the rest of the world. The more the situation gets complicated, the more dynamically the DPRK will advance along the road chosen by itself with the justice of its cause and firm confidence in victory. This is the revolutionary disposition and the tradition of struggle of the service personnel and people of the DPRK who were brought up by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. |
