Aces of the National Taekwon-Do Team and other Taekwon-Do teams, Korea University of Physical Education and Central Physical Training College will compete in Taekwon-Do and Paduk (go) matches.

Present at the opening ceremony were Thae Jong Su, chief secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Jon Kwang Ho, chairman of the South Hamgyong Provincial People's Committee, officials concerned, sports persons, youth and students.

Kim Kyong Ho, chairman of the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee, made an opening address.

At the end of the opening ceremony there took place demonstrations of players of the South Hamgyong Provincial Taekwon-Do Team.
