The 4 km-long beach, a scenic spot on the west coast, is most suitable to sea bathing for gentle wave and shallow water.

After sea bathing, its visitors enjoy folklore amusements and sports games, taking various kinds of dishes they cook with seafood on their own hands.

According to Ro Yong Hyon, manager of the Ryongsupho Beach Management Office, more than 10 000 people a day come to the beach at present to enjoy sea bathing.
